About the Position:
Hiring an experienced Senior Project (Structural) Engineer responsible for performing the structural design of our client's glass systems and overseeing the projects through the approval, manufacturing, and installation phases.
• Compensation: Up to $125k. The role is eligible for straight-time overtime.
• The role is in-person in Austin. We will pay for relocation. $5k in state, $10k out of state.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience with structural design of façade systems, preferably metal-framed glazed systems.
• Working knowledge of material design codes, including AISC and ADM (aluminum design manual)
• Working knowledge of building codes such as IBC and ASCE 7.
• Experience using 3D frame analysis software such as SAP2000, STAAD, RISA-3D, etc.
• Experience with finite element analysis software to model shells and solids such as Strand7, MEPLA, Abaqus, ANSYS, etc.
