About the Position

The company is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead business development efforts and drive strategic growth across their markets. This executive-level role is ideal for a seasoned B2B sales professional with a strong technical understanding of the construction or building products industry.

You will take ownership of new customer acquisition and the nurturing of key existing accounts. You’ll also be instrumental in shaping sales strategies, expanding market presence, and improving conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new business and grow existing accounts

  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, client presentations, and partner engagements

  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to manage pipeline activity, client communications, and project tracking

  • Establish sales KPIs, monitor performance, and report on progress to leadership

  • Collaborate with Sales Coordinators to ensure timely, accurate project communication

  • Lead campaigns targeting high-value clients, vendors, and channel partners

  • Remain informed on industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field OR a proven portfolio demonstrating successful B2B sales performance in the building/construction trades

  • Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles

  • Strong technical understanding of construction systems, materials, or industrial products

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot)

  • Ability and willingness to travel for industry events and client meetings

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex sales projects
