Client company is an energy infrastructure owner with completed transactions totaling over $1 billion. Our client is looking to hire a Director of Development for their Community Solar Division.
Key aspects of the role include:
- Scaling a growing business and driving critical internal process efficiencies and initiatives
- Leading the execution of post-acquisition, pre-mobilization tasks for community solar projects
- Working comfortably with investment, asset management, and delivery teams
Candidate qualifications & core characteristics:
- Unimpeachable integrity and glowing references
- Proven experience understanding and navigating laws and regulations at a state and local level.
- Deep familiarity with the community solar development lifecycle.
- Excellent project management skills.
- A risk management mindset and ability to anticipate challenges.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including empathy, intuition, and listening as well as strong writing, editing, and basic design skills.
- High level of self-awareness and humility, with excitement about confronting uncomfortable situations or new challenges
- Intellectual agility, curiosity, and creativity; problem-solving is your default mode
