Scott Perone

Associate

Scott began his career with Kimmel & Associates in 2024 as an Associate in our Heavy Civil Division.

Prior to joining Kimmel & Associates, Scott built a career in medical and surgical device distribution and was the founder of Perone Medical Inc., which later became Synergy Orthopedics.

He earned an Associate of Science degree in Biology from North Greenville University and went on to study marketing and materials engineering at Western Carolina University. Scott was a 2-sport athlete in college: baseball and football.

Outside of the office, Scott enjoys playing competitive pickleball as well as spending time outdoors with his wife and 3 boys, fishing, surfing, snowboarding, camping, and mountain biking.

We sat down with Scott and asked him the following:

• What do you like most about working at Kimmel & Associates?
  The people. The culture. I enjoy having colleagues who genuinely care about performing at a high level while providing a service that is so impactful.
• What is one thing you learned early in your career that has made you successful?
  Measure twice and cut once. In business, you do not get many second chances so do things right the first time!
• What can clients and candidates expect from you?
  They can expect honesty, integrity, and a relationship with someone who genuinely cares about helping them get the best outcomes.
• What makes you different from other recruiters in your industry?
  We specialize and try to be really great at one thing vs. mediocre at two or three. At Kimmel, all I do is heavy/civil construction recruiting!
• Favorite quote?
  “A goal without a PLAN is merely a wish!”
• What causes are you passionate about?
  I am passionate about nutritional health education and how we can manage our health with our diet and heal our ailments with food.
• Personal interests?
  Pickleball, golf, drones, and of course, FOOTBALL!
