Jerry Wilkins

Executive Vice President

Jerry began his career at Kimmel & Associates in 2001. He serves the General Construction Division in the Southeast.

He earned a BS in Education from Western Carolina University. Upon graduation, he spent 20 years as an educator and head football coach in the public school system. The former coach’s discipline, planning, and ability to develop the talents of many around him have served Jerry well at Kimmel & Associates.

His hard work and dedication were recognized in 2005, as Jerry was named a Vice President. In 2015, Jerry was promoted to Executive Vice President. He also serves on Kimmel & Associates’ Board of Advisors and is Head of the Leadership & Professional Awareness Program.

Jerry is honest and diligent when matching the needs of his clients with the absolute best candidates, and as a result, professionals who develop a partnership with him are often repeat clients.

His philosophy is: “Work hard, work smart, and be consistent!”

We sat down with Jerry and asked him the following:

• What do you like most about working at Kimmel & Associates?
  I’ve been with Kimmel for more than 20 years. It is a great company that treats the employees with respect and gratitude.
• What is one thing you learned early in your career that has made you successful?
  Our founder taught us to ‘work with a servant’s heart’ and I fully bought in!
• What is your greatest strength as a consultant?
  To listen to the person I am speaking with and do my best to meet their needs.
• What can clients and candidates expect from you?
  It is not just a job and a paycheck; I enjoy helping people better themselves.
• Do you have a favorite book?
  Yes, the Bible.
• What causes are you passionate about?
  Faith, family, and friends. I love to take beach vacations with my wife (of more than 40 years), kids, and grandkids. I enjoy sports of all kinds: football, basketball, and baseball to name a few. I can’t necessarily play all of those sports now that I am a little older, so I stick to my golf, which my wife calls a sickness.
