We sat down with Alan and asked him the following:
-
What do you like most about working at Kimmel & Associates?
There is no company I know of that does so much to encourage and support our professional and personal health, development, and success, or to make families feel valued and cared for. I love all we do in the community, giving what we can of our time and money for great causes. -
What is your greatest strength in your role?
Showing I care and am willing to go way out of my way when needed to help someone, be it a company or a candidate. Doing what’s right, and treating others as I would want to be treated. -
Do you have a favorite quote?
“Nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” - Theodore Roosevelt -
What causes are you passionate about?
As a proud parent and former elementary school teacher, I am very passionate about the health and wellbeing of children as well as the highest quality education for all children. -
What can clients and candidates expect from you?
Clients and candidates can expect me to be honest and to communicate in a professional and timely manner so that there are no mysteries or unneeded worry. To do my very best in all of my endeavors. -
Personal interests?
Although I am not a huge sports fan, I grew up in Georgia so I am very big on Atlanta teams (the Falcons and the Braves). I love music from all over the world and play drums, which is a great way to express things that words can’t and to relieve stress. That would be my true and greatest passion. I love the beach. The clearer the water and the whiter the sand, the better. Living in Asheville is the best because there are endless beautiful trails to hike and rivers and lakes in which to swim.
